Happy Halloween

I hope everyone had an amazing Halloween this year. For me it was lonely because Ryan had to work, but at least I had Harley to keep me company. As always I dress her up for about 30 minutes (and that’s pushing it) take her out to the front with all of the decorations and make her "POSE" for the camera. She did a great job and was spoiled for the rest of the evening for her patience with her mom. I love Halloween, but I HATE dressing up, you will never see me at a Halloween party, but I love decorating and boy do we decorate. This year we had alot of trick or treaters, I put Ryan in charge of getting the candy......... He got 3 bags....... Yes only 3BAGS...... I mean seriously who uses only 3 bags, so I had to go to the store yesterday and buy some more, luckily I had coupons so I got 7 bags for a total of $10.00. I have a few left over for Ryan and I. Here are the pictures from tonight.

Ryan has been at work since Thursday and I am so excited to see him tomorrow for a little Marissa and Ryan time. Last week Southwest was having a HUGE sale on airfare so in January Ryan and I are going to San Diego for 4 days for a little relaxation. Our total airfare for the 2 of us was only $140 round trip!!! We can't wait. He also booked a 'Boy's Weekend'................ To VEGAS for a few days in December, so the next few months for us are going to be beyond busy!!!

The Travis' Carve Pumpkins

So tonight Ryan and I carved pumpkins. This year was a little different however; we didn't use real pumpkins..... We used the 'Foam Pumpkins' this was our first time ever using them so it was a new experience for the both of us. We had to carve pumpkins tonight because Ryan has to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday so our only night to do this was tonight. I made dinner while Ryan started taking the tops off. I will have more pictures of Halloween posted on Sunday of course. I dress poor Harley up and the entire house is decorated. Here are some pictures of our Pumpkins!!!

It's Hockey Season Baby

I know it's been a month since my last blog, but believe it or not Ryan and I have been crazy busy. My mom and her boyfriend are coming for a 2 week visit in a few weeks and I have been organizing our Spare bedroom and getting things in order and planning things to do for their visit. I haven't seen my Mum since my wedding, so this visit is extra important for me and I get to meet the man she has been sharing her life with. I am so happy she has finally found someone who makes her smile and most importantly 'HAPPY'. My mum and Scott fly in on November 17th for 2 weeks. I haven't spent a holiday with her since 2002.

As most of you know Ryan and I are season ticket holders for the Phoenix Coyotes. Well over the summer there was a possibility of the team moving to Canada. Well they didn't move they are here for this season at least. Well to gain some support for their 'Home Opener' they asked everyone to wear white for the 'White out' It was amazing too see everyone in the arena wearing white, they also handed out white pom poms. The Coyotes are off to a great start and hopefully this momentum will continue throughout the season.

On Thursday we went to the Red Wings game, my team lost but hey what are you going to do here are some pics of our night!!!
