Red Wings??????

As many of you know I was born and raised in Michigan, being a Michigander also means you are a DIE HARD Red wing fan. Ryan and I are HUGE hockey fans and we live for playoff hockey. The red wings have advanced to the 2nd round.... Which means that their next opponent is the Anaheim Ducks. Well....... Ryan and I decided to buy tickets to Game 6 Ducks vs Red wings in Anaheim. If the Wings don't smoke the ducks we will be driving to Anaheim, California for Game 6 on Tuesday May 12th. Ryan is a hockey fan and a red wings fan by marriage. I am really hoping they go to a game 6. We will be leaving May 12th in the am and arriving in California later that afternoon, we will be staying for 3 days and also taking a day trip to Knotts Barry Farms. I will keep you all posted to whether or not we are going. Lets go Wings. Game 1 tomorrow 7:00et on Versus.

What Happens in Vegas.................. Get's Posted

Our Liqour Mart.. Aka Our Hotel Room

On Sunday Ryan and I and his crew and their girlfriends and wives all flew to Vegas for a few days of drinking, fun and sun. On Saturday the boys had to work so all the girls went to dinner and then did some shopping for new clothes. Sunday morning Ryan came home from work packed somethings that I forgot and we headed to the airport. All the girls and I were so excited for this trip we couldn't contain it, we all met at the airport bar and did a few shots and boarded our plane to LAS VEGAS. When we got there we went right to the pool. theres nothing like 90 degree temps and endless sun. We were at the pool for about an hour and then went to our room to get ready for our night out. When we first started planning this vacation we knew we wanted to do a girls/boys night. Well the girls night went as followed: We got ready sent the boys on their way and we went on our way. We had some dinner and then went to a lounge at the Monte Carlo for some drinks. After dinner and drinks we walked to our next adventure....... Thunder From Down Under (For those of you who dont know what that is..... It is a 'Male' Show where men strip down to their thongs) it was a great show, all of us girls really were intrigued when the men dressed up as firemen. After the show we went to a few clubs and then we ended up at Coyote Ugly where we all got up on the bar took a few shots and danced. As we danced we got a few shouts and whistles. While we were there we thought about the boys...... for about a second but we decided we didn't want to be the first ones to call them so we danced a bit longer. Later we got a text from them and then headed back to the hotel to find them drinking in the room..... Half Asleep. It was a great night apart!!!

The boy's had their night so I am not sure what went on but you can guess where 5 young firemen went for their night. It seemed like they had a great time.

The next day we went to breakfast at the Monte Carlo's Buffett then back to our hotel (MGM Grand) for a day of fun by the pool. They had a lazy river where you can float down. The group drank while I sipped on Virgin Daquiri's I didn't want to get tooo hammered so I paced myself and it worked the entire time.

After a day at the pool we went to dinner at Diablos had some Margarita's, then hit the town. After dinner we walked down to the Belaggio to see the famous fountains. Jay one of the firemen on Ryan's crew got really sick so he stayed back at the hotel so his girlfriend felt bad leaving him behind so Heather and myself walked her back to the MGM after the fountain show. By the time we got back to the hotel we couldn't feel our feet and we knew we had to walk back to the rest of the group so we got on the monorail; which is a tram that takes you from one hotel to another. we got dropped off at the Paris hotel and Heather and I sat down at the bar had a drink and met the greatest bartender ever. We had a great time people watching and wishing we wouldn't have to walk again. We then took a cab to New York New York had a few drinks and went to this Dueling Piano Bar. It was amazing we drank and sang and then us old people had to go back to the hotel around 2:00am.

On Tuesday we woke up had some breakfast, checked out and did some shopping and sight-seeing. Heather and I really wanted to ride the roller coaster at the New York New York. We were the only ones who rode it because everyone else was AFRAID. We then had some lunch and made our way to the airport.

Diamondbacks game... Hockey Game and Easter

This past week Ryan's Aunt, Uncle and Cousins flew in from New York for a visit. On Friday night we wnt to dinner with them and then to a Diamondbacks game. We haven't seen them since Brady's wedding and it was nice to be able to spend time with them without any weddings. His cousins are 10 and 12 so it was great being a kid again. So we made it to the Diamondbacks game, for those of you who remember last D-back Season Ryan was Bad Luck every time we went to a game they would loose. So this season he was a little reluctant to go. Well...... Needless to say we WON... Wooo Hooo Below are a few pictures of the family and game.

Diamondbacks Won

As you know Ryan and I are Season Ticket Holders with the Phoenix Coyotes, we go to 42-44 games a year. Saturday was our last game of the season. It was a great game the Yotes won in a Shootout. While at the game our announcers announced that Vince Vaughn was at the game so I took a few pictures of him and his back. We have 6 more months to go til next season, but at least I get to watch my RED WINGS excel in the playoffs.
